yet another attempt at blogging

yet another attempt at keeping a blog. weekly updates this time, hoping to deliver. The goal is to keep myself on track, practice writing more and build some kind of routine,:]
discipline.

the last week, been sick. spent the week in my room, weekend in my room with Yvon. nothing but chilling, with irregular obsessive cleaning, making new playlist for radio walden (upcoming project with photographer/scholar refik sancar) -

last week's been mostly prog&psych rock but entered the week feeling more electronic, right now playing the goddess Björk's Vulnicura.

Requested two books for the uni library a few weeks ago, and today got the mail that the books were purchased and are now available for pick up. my room is already full of books I've borrowed from the lib, although I've only read a couple pages within the last couple of months. I've decided not to start actual work on my phd research until I get paid for it, research grant, scholarship whatever. And reading for pleasure was never really my thing. The best books I've read taught me to close the book and go out.

The two selected books of the week are:

  1. Attached to the living world: a new ecopoetry anthology by Ann Fisher-Wirth and Laura-Gray Street.
  2. You are here: poetry in the natural world by Ada Limón.

let's see when I'll start reading again.
